The Minister of Electricity, Ali Saadi Wahib, issued a direct appeal to citizens on Thursday, urging them to contact the dedicated hotlines to submit complaints and immediately address electrical faults. In an official statement, the ministry announced the allocation of
specific numbers for all provinces to facilitate a rapid response, dedicating 157 for Karkh, 158 for Rusafa, 1012 for Sadr City, 159 for the remaining provinces, along with 5608 for the ministry's headquarters. These measures are part of the ministry's
efforts to elevate the level of services provided and overcome obstacles to the stability of the electricity supply across the country.
