The President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, received a federal military delegation headed by the Chief of Staff of the Army, Abdul Amir Rashid Yarallah, to discuss the security file regarding the protection of oil companies operating in the
region. The delegation explained that the visit was based on direct directives from the Federal Prime Minister, aiming to enhance coordination with the Peshmerga forces to secure the appropriate environment for resuming oil production and exports. For his part, Barzani
praised the close level of cooperation between Baghdad and Erbil, emphasizing the importance of joint efforts to support the country's economic stability and close security gaps in the face of terrorist movements.
