In an official statement, the Ministry emphasized the necessity of strict adherence to the principles of international law and the UN Charter, stressing the importance of respecting state sovereignty and good neighborliness, and refraining from taking any steps or measures
that could fuel conflict or compromise the security of vital waterways. Iraqi diplomacy renewed its firm stance rejecting any threats to the stability of regional countries, calling on the international community and relevant parties to engage in constructive dialogue and
prioritize diplomatic means to resolve existing disputes. The Ministry affirmed its full support for all efforts and initiatives aimed at de-escalation, safeguarding the mutual interests of nations, and sustainably ensuring the security and stability of the region.
