The Kurdistan Regional Government has announced the suspension of official working hours in all government departments and institutions in observance of the Islamic New Year and the first of Muharram. This decision comes as part of commemorating significant religious occasions
and in solidarity and coordination with the procedures followed in the capital, Baghdad, as the anniversary of the Prophet's migration represents a central and important milestone in Islamic history and the Islamic calendar.
