National Security Advisor Qasim Al-Aboudi received the Turkish Ambassador to Baghdad, Anil Bora Inan, in a meeting focused on ways to develop bilateral relations between the two countries and enhance joint coordination in security and strategic files. The meeting addressed mechanisms to maintain constructive cooperation at all levels to serve mutual interests, in addition to discussing efforts aimed at achieving the highest degrees of regional stability through continued security cooperation and intelligence coordination. The National Security Advisor praised Turkey's effective role in regional stability, emphasizing the Iraqi government's keenness to open up to brotherly and friendly countries and build strong informational partnerships that serve strategic interests. He also stressed Iraq's constitutional commitment not to allow its territory to be used as a launching pad for any activities that threaten the security and stability of neighboring countries and the world. In turn, the Turkish Ambassador congratulated the Advisor on his new position.
