rafidainscope - The head of the Federal Integrity Commission, Mohammed Ali al-Laami, and the head of the Presidency Diwan, Yahya Ghazi al-Mohammedawi, stressed on Thursday (September 10, 2026) the importance of integrated institutional efforts to combat corruption, protect public funds, and provide an attractive environment for investment.

In a press statement, the commission said that al-Laami emphasized during the meeting that the combined efforts of state institutions and society constitute a fundamental pillar for oversight bodies, enhancing their ability to pursue corruption, track its proceeds, and recover embezzled funds.

Al-Laami also pointed to the importance of support provided by the three authorities to oversight bodies, praising the continued support from the Presidency for anti-corruption efforts, which contributes to strengthening the integrity system and consolidating transparency and accountability.

For his part, the head of the Presidency Diwan praised the Integrity Commission's efforts and its recent campaigns that led to pursuing those involved in corruption cases at the expense of public money, expressing hope for cleansing state institutions and supporting honest employees.
