rafidainscope - Diyala Police Command announced on Sunday the arrest of a wanted suspect under Article (4/terrorism) in al-Ibara district of the province.
The command said in a statement that the arrest operation was carried out under the direct supervision of Diyala Police Chief, Major General Mohammed Kazem Attiya, where detachments of al-Ibara police station, in cooperation with the intelligence and counter-terrorism directorate detachments, managed to arrest the suspect.
It added that the operation was conducted based on precise intelligence information and field follow-up, noting that the necessary legal measures were taken against the suspect and he was referred to the competent authorities to complete the investigation.
