Dismantling of a Drug-Dealing Network Comprising 12 Suspects in the Capital, Baghdad

Security and intelligence agencies announced a new strike against organized crime syndicates, apprehending 12 suspects involved in trafficking and promoting narcotics across various areas of the capital. This operation was the result of high-level security coordination and precise utilization of intelligence information, which led to the setting of tight ambushes and surprise checkpoints that captured the suspects. The operations resulted in the seizure of various quantities of narcotics. The suspects, along with the seized items, were formally handed over to the competent authorities to complete the necessary legal procedures against them, as part of the ongoing efforts to dry up the sources of toxins in society.
