Sunni Endowment Takes Legal Action Against Political Analyst for Inciting Sectarianism

The Sunni Endowment Directorate announced the initiation of an official lawsuit against a political analyst following media statements described as carrying a sectarian nature and undermining national unity. The legal department within the Directorate affirmed its commitment to taking all deterrent measures against anyone attempting to harm the Iraqi social fabric or incite discord. The complaint submitted to the competent investigative court included documented evidence, calling for penal actions in accordance with the provisions of the Iraqi Penal Code, in order to preserve societal cohesion and stability.
