In its vigorous pursuit to maintain security and enforce the rule of law, the National Security Agency announced the outcome of its intensive operations at border crossings and checkpoints over 48 hours. The efforts resulted in the execution of 31
qualitative seizure operations and the arrest of 29 suspects involved in terrorism, narcotics, forgery, and residency violations. The operations also included the handover of a prominent terror suspect at Baghdad International Airport, who was brought in from abroad to face
justice. In the context of protecting public health and food security, detachments successfully confiscated thousands of non-compliant medical items and destroyed large quantities of food unfit for human consumption.
