The Ministry of Education announced the launch of acceleration exams for the academic year (2025-2026), with the participation of 3,067 students and pupils distributed across examination centers in the capital, Baghdad, and other provinces. These tests are conducted under the
direct supervision of the Minister of Education, Abdul Karim Abtan Al-Jubouri, aiming to assess the mental and academic capabilities of applicants, enabling qualified candidates to skip an entire academic year and advance to higher grades. The Ministry clarified that successful
candidates in these tests will be permitted to take the final exams for the second session alongside their peers in the subsequent educational stages. In a related context, the Director General of Evaluation and Examinations conducted inspection tours of several
examination centers to monitor the level of organization and ensure the strict implementation of educational procedures and regulations.
