Mada Al-Rafidain: Mosul Municipality Employee Arrested Red-Handed Taking a Bribe

The Federal Integrity Commission announced on Sunday the arrest of an employee in the Mosul Municipality Directorate caught red-handed in a bribery crime. In a statement reviewed by the Mada Al-Rafidain network, the Commission stated that a team from the Nineveh Investigation Directorate executed a tight ambush in the Al-Ghazlani Municipal Sector, resulting in the arrest of the employee while receiving funds from a citizen's representative in exchange for completing a real estate transaction and issuing a clearance certificate. The statement confirmed that the bribe money was found in the suspect's possession inside his office, leading to his detention by order of the Nineveh Investigation Court judge specialized in integrity cases, in accordance with proper legal procedures.
