"Imposing Sovereignty" Operations Launched to Secure Desert Triangle in Najaf and Karbala

The Middle Euphrates Operations Command in the Popular Mobilization Forces announced the launch of extensive military operations named "Imposing Sovereignty" in the deserts of Najaf and Karbala through four axes. The operations commander confirmed that the operation is being carried out under the direction of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and under the supervision of the Army Chief of Staff, with the aim of securing the road linking Karbala and the Nukhayb area. The operation axes include the Middle Euphrates Operations Command, Karbala Holy Operations Command, Anbar Operations Command in the Popular Mobilization Forces, in addition to the Second Brigade in the mobilization. The participating forces continue inspection and sweeping operations to a depth of up to 70 kilometers, according to tight military plans and a high level of professionalism.
