The Central Criminal Anti-Corruption Court has revealed the seizure of massive financial assets estimated at 14 billion Iraqi dinars, as part of ongoing investigations into financial embezzlement cases involving several detained officials. The competent investigating judge explained that meticulous tracking
of financial proceeds resulting from manipulated projects led to the discovery of these funds, which were concealed inside a rainwater drainage pit. Judicial authorities affirmed the continuation of intensive investigative procedures to identify all involved parties and fully uncover the
circumstances of the case.
