He stressed the need to remove recovery obstacles such as dual citizenship and legislative differences. Al-Lami also
noted that combating corruption contributes to creating an attractive investment environment. For his part, the Chargé d'Affaires expressed his country's desire to expand the partnership with Iraq to include the economy and integrity, rather than focusing solely on military support.
