The Baghdad Operations Command announced the execution of a controlled explosion to safely dispose of war remnants in the vicinity of Baghdad International Airport, west of the capital. In an official statement, the command clarified that military engineering teams and
specialized security authorities will carry out the detonation process from morning until midday. Citizens were advised not to panic upon hearing the explosions, as they are part of routine security measures to secure the airport's perimeter.
