Official security sources reported the appointment of Major General Yahya Rasool Abdullah as the official spokesperson for the Iraqi Ministry of Defense. This assignment came based on direct directives from the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Ali Al-Zaidi, in a
move aimed at restructuring and organizing the ministry's media department. It is noteworthy that Major General Yahya Rasool previously held the position of spokesperson for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, in addition to serving as a military advisor to
the Prime Minister.
