The capital witnessed high-level political discussions between the Prime Minister-designate Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi and the Secretary-General of the Asa'ib Ahl al-Haq movement, Sheikh Qais Al-Khazali, dealing with the current political scene and the requirements of the next phase. The meeting
focused on the need to overcome political obstacles and adhere to constitutional deadlines to announce the new cabinet lineup. The two sides stressed the importance of the emergence of a national government that possesses a realistic program aiming at elevating
the service reality, improving the standard of living, and consolidating the pillars of security and political stability throughout the country.
