rafidainscope - International reports revealed on Thursday advanced discussions between the Syrian and Turkish governments to establish an expanded military alliance aimed at countering potential regional threats. These moves follow a recent strike on the Abu al-Duhur airbase in Syria's
Idlib. Preliminary information indicates that the prospective alliance may involve Ankara providing logistical support, including AWACS surveillance aircraft and fighter jets to protect Syrian airspace, as well as expanding military aid to the Syrian army. International observers warned that recent
military escalations in the region could have triggered a wider confrontation if not for diplomatic containment efforts.
