rafidainscope - The leading body of the Al-Azm Coalition discussed, on Thursday (September 10, 2026), with Finance Minister Falih al-Sari a number of legislative and executive files, foremost among them the regularization of contract employees, farmers' dues, and the entitlements of former army personnel.
The coalition confirmed in a press statement that its leading body met with the finance minister to discuss files of mutual interest and address issues related to legislative and executive work.
The statement added that the meeting emphasized the importance of accelerating the payment of dues to farmers who marketed their crops, as well as regularizing contract employees across all ministries onto the permanent payroll within the upcoming federal budget.
The leading body also called during the meeting for fairness toward former members of the Iraqi army and for action to disburse their financial entitlements.
