rafidainscope - The Al-Anbar Criminal Court issued a life imprisonment ruling against two convicts, a man and his wife, for the crime of trading narcotic substances and selling them among abusers.
The competent judicial authorities stated that fourteen thousand pills of amphetamine narcotic substance were seized in the possession of the convicts for the purpose of promotion and illegal trade.
It added that the ruling was issued based on the provisions of the effective Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law, along with complicity provisions to ensure legal deterrence for such serious crimes.
