The Counter-Terrorism Service (CTS) announced the execution of successful security operations resulting in the arrest of two terrorists in the provinces of Sulaymaniyah and Kirkuk, alongside the destruction of several terrorist hideouts. The Service stated that its forces, in coordination
with relevant intelligence and security authorities, managed to apprehend a terrorist in Sulaymaniyah who held leadership positions and had carried out previous attacks against civilians and security forces. In a related context, and based on precise intelligence, another operation in
Kirkuk led to the arrest of a remnant of the terrorist gangs and the destruction of five hideouts previously used as safe havens by those defeated groups.
