The Parliamentary Finance Committee confirmed that employees' salaries are secured, noting that the budget is linked to the formation of the government. A committee member indicated that the Central Bank pledged to finance and secure employees' salaries according to the
emergency deficit financing law. He explained that Iraq needs more than 7 trillion dinars to secure employees' salaries, which are secured according to the emergency deficit financing law from the Central Bank for six months. He noted that there is
borrowing authority to reduce the size of the crisis, especially due to uncertainty about the opening of the Strait of Hormuz.
