The Iraqi Ministry of Oil and the General Company for Ports firmly denied circulating reports regarding the halt of crude oil loading and export operations from southern ports following an incident where a tanker was struck by a foreign object.
Official authorities confirmed that export activities are proceeding normally without any interruption, pointing out that the incident occurred outside the territorial limits of the ports and their affiliated docks. Meanwhile, the Oil Marketing Company continues its investigations to determine the
nature of the object that struck the tanker, amid international media reports suggesting a drone collision that caused no severe material damage impeding maritime navigation.
