Dhi Qar Governorate has recorded a concerning increase in the number of people infected with hemorrhagic fever, with the total number of confirmed cases exceeding 90 following centralized laboratory tests. Local health authorities confirmed that the governorate has the highest
recorded number of infections nationwide. Although the majority of infected individuals have recovered, the disease has resulted in several fatalities due to health complications. In light of this epidemiological escalation, the relevant authorities are making exceptional efforts to contain and
control the spread of the disease, amid official calls to intensify support for veterinary hospitals and enhance their capabilities in combating the vector of the disease to protect public health.
