use is linked to long-term negative consequences, including delayed language development, sleep disorders, vision problems, and an increased risk of obesity. Researchers called for an update to current global guidelines, emphasizing the need to completely avoid screen time during this
critical developmental stage. Instead, they recommend interactive activities that promote family communication and physical play. Furthermore, they urged technology companies to take responsibility by limiting the promotion of content targeted at infants.
