Deputy Minister of Oil for Extraction Affairs, Naseer Aziz, met with a high-level delegation from the American energy company Chevron, headed by the company's Vice President Joe Cook, to discuss prospects for joint cooperation and review promising investment opportunities in
the Iraqi oil and energy sectors. The meeting focused on discussing ways to enhance bilateral partnerships in line with the strategic development goals adopted by the Iraqi government. The two sides also reviewed the possibilities of implementing vital projects that
contribute to developing the national oil industry, improving energy infrastructure, and maximizing economic returns from oil production to support the national economy.
