rafidainscope - The Ministry of Transport announced that it has completed, with the Turkish side, the final draft for implementing the Development Road project between the two countries. The ministry said in a statement that representatives of the ministries of transport,
oil, finance and foreign affairs, in addition to SOMO company and executive bodies, concluded four days of talks with the Turkish delegation to negotiate the final draft for implementing the project. It added that the talks focused on completing the legal,
technical and financial aspects and determining implementation mechanisms, in a way that ensures clarity of mutual obligations and rights and the requirements of the targeted projects between the two countries. It is noteworthy that Iraq signed a memorandum of understanding with
the Turkish side at the end of last July to implement the project between the two countries and enhance cooperation in its management.
