Relevant municipal authorities have revealed strategic plans to privatize the waste sector, presenting it as an investment opportunity in the upcoming phase. Sources indicated that the capital collects approximately 10,000 tons of waste daily, prompting a shift toward modern and
environmentally safe disposal methods. In this context, an investment opportunity was granted in collaboration with the environmental and energy sectors to process and incinerate 3,000 tons daily at landfill sites, generating approximately 100 megawatts of electricity. There are also plans
to expand these projects to other areas.
