Golden Wheat Season: Iraq Announces Achievement of Self-Food Security

In a historic achievement for the agricultural sector, Iraq officially announced achieving self-sufficiency in the wheat crop after a successful marketing season that exceeded expectations. Supporting government policies, from providing pivotal sprinklers to high-grade seeds, contributed to a significant increase in productivity per acre despite water scarcity. Farmers expressed their satisfaction with the speed of receiving their financial entitlements, encouraging them to expand cultivated areas for future seasons.
