The Federal Commission of Integrity affirmed that protecting state funds is an uncompromising red line, and the law will prosecute all those involved in corruption crimes, regardless of their positions or titles. During bilateral talks held in Baghdad with the Finnish side, the Commission explained that anti-corruption efforts receive absolute support from the legislative and judicial branches, serving as the foundation for creating a safe investment environment that protects foreign companies and developmental projects from extortion. The two sides discussed ways to enhance international cooperation, provide legal assistance to facilitate the recovery of looted funds, and explored the possibility of signing bilateral memorandums of understanding to develop personnel and exchange expertise in corruption prevention and control.
