Civil Defense teams successfully and fully contained a fire that broke out inside a three-story commercial building in the Mansour district of central Baghdad. The teams mobilized their efforts immediately upon receiving the report to surround the flames, which had
ignited in shops dedicated to selling mobile phones and accessories. The rapid response prevented the fire from spreading to adjacent buildings and stores, despite the presence of highly flammable materials. Authorities confirmed that the incident resulted in no human casualties,
and the teams succeeded in rescuing cash from inside the site. Meanwhile, forensics and competent authorities have launched investigations to determine the cause of the fire.
