The Federal Intelligence and Investigations Agency announced the arrest of two suspects involved in terrorism-related cases and threatening social peace in the Karkh side of the capital, Baghdad. Intensive intelligence efforts and precise field tracking led to the capture of the first suspect for his involvement in a shooting incident targeting journalists and media personnel. Meanwhile, the second suspect was arrested for writing tribal threat phrases on citizens' homes. Both operations were carried out under judicial arrest warrants in accordance with the Anti-Terrorism Law. The suspects' confessions were recorded in preparation for their referral to the judiciary. The agency reaffirmed its ongoing targeted operations to deter anyone attempting to compromise citizens' security and civil peace.
