Arab Parliament Praises Jeddah Summit Resolutions and Affirms Solidarity with Gulf Security

The President of the Arab Parliament, Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Yamahi, expressed his absolute support for the firm decisions resulting from the 19th Gulf Consultative Summit in Jeddah. In his statement, Al Yamahi affirmed the Parliament's support for the legitimate right of Arab states to defend their sovereignty and territories against any foreign interventions or attacks, rejecting any compromise on the freedom of maritime navigation in the Strait of Hormuz to ensure the stability of global energy supplies. He also praised the leading role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in enhancing Arab cohesion and unifying visions to confront the challenges facing the region.
