A wide-scale security operation was launched in Qal'at Saleh district in Maysan Governorate to track down wanted persons by the judiciary.
Security sources reported that security forces began implementing the operation since the early morning hours with the participation of various security branches, including search and raid operations to track down dozens of wanted persons based on original arrest warrants.
The sources explained that the operation comes within the framework of enhancing security and stability in the governorate, and is the first of its kind following the wide-ranging changes that affected the operations, police, and intelligence commands, along with a number of security joints in Maysan.
