nationwide. The Directorate explained that this increase places immense pressure on road infrastructure, noting that its committees are actively addressing accident hotspots. It also reported a decline in the use of mobile phones while driving, emphasizing that excessive speed remains
the primary cause of accidents, and reaffirmed its commitment to the smart camera and radar project to curb violations.
