Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi responded to recent statements made by Lebanese President Joseph Aoun regarding Iran and Hezbollah, urging a focus on what he described as Lebanon's "real enemy." Taking to the "X" platform, Araghchi clarified that the Lebanese
president's remarks carry implications that Tehran completely rejects, pointing out that his country is not responsible for Lebanon's current crises. He added that if Lebanon were merely a bargaining chip, Tehran would have reached an agreement long ago, calling on
the Lebanese president to save his country from actual threats. These responses followed the Lebanese president's statements to international media, in which he affirmed his rejection of foreign interference and stressed that the resistance's weapons do not represent the will
of the Lebanese people, in addition to delivering a direct message considered the most strongly worded regarding Iran's role in the country.
