The Supreme Commission for Hajj and Umrah has decided to fully refund registration fees for the electronic Hajj lottery to applicants who were not selected. In an official statement, the Commission confirmed that refunds will be processed via approved mechanisms,
assuring applicants that no fees are levied on those not chosen. The Commission had previously announced regulations for the upcoming years' electronic lotteries, emphasizing that priority will be given to elderly citizens who have not yet performed the pilgrimage. Under
these rules, registration is limited to individuals aged 45 and above, a measure coordinated with legislative bodies to ensure fair opportunities for eligible groups.
