The Al-Diwaniyah Governorate Police Command announced the arrest of a suspect who killed his father following family disputes, apprehending him within an hour of the crime. The command explained that a joint security force responded immediately to the scene in
the Afak district upon receiving the report, arresting the perpetrator and seizing the firearm used in the crime. The victim's body was transferred to the forensic medicine department, while the suspect was formally detained and referred to competent investigative authorities
for legal action. Security agencies renewed their full commitment to protecting the governorate's security and pursuing outlaws.
