The Baghdad Operations Command announced the closure of a hall for practicing gambling "betting" in the Karrada area on the Rusafa side, and the arrest of four violators inside it.
The Command clarified that the operation was carried out through regional search and inspection duties in cooperation with the Tourism Security Directorate and the Residency and Nationality Directorate, supported by intelligence agencies and apparatuses, where 90 gambling devices and other tools were seized.
It indicated that the suspects and seized materials were handed over to the competent authorities to complete legal procedures.
