Iraq and China signed a series of memorandums of understanding aimed at diversifying the economic partnership between the two countries to include various productive and industrial aspects. The agreements focus on transferring advanced Chinese technology and establishing joint projects in
food manufacturing and agricultural machinery, enhancing Iraq's ability to achieve food security and reduce the import bill, within the government's move to activate non-oil productive sectors.
