National Security Advisory Confirms Coordination with Kurdistan Region Enhances Iraq's Unity and Stability

National Security Advisor Qasim Al-Araji confirmed that mutual visits between Baghdad and Erbil carry profound national messages reflecting the strength of bilateral relations. This was stated during his reception of the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, Masrour Barzani, and Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein, where the strategic dimensions of joint cooperation were discussed. Al-Araji stressed the importance of resorting to the Iraqi Constitution to resolve outstanding issues, noting that the strength and stability of the Kurdistan Region positively reflect on the strength of the capital, Baghdad, and vice versa. For his part, Barzani explained that the objective of his talks in the capital is to support the federal government and find sustainable constitutional solutions to problems, recalling the shared history in confronting terrorism and security challenges.
