Parliamentary sources confirmed that the Ministry of Finance has agreed to release the financial dues of Iraqi farmers following the Eid al-Adha holidays. This development came after official discussions between the Ministers of Agriculture and Finance to resolve the issue.
Parliamentary circles stressed that supporting the agricultural sector is a top government priority, requiring the necessary facilitations and the swift disbursement of dues, which exceed one trillion Iraqi dinars. Legislative bodies indicated their continuous close follow-up with the concerned ministries
to ensure the rapid completion of administrative procedures related to the disbursement of the remaining funds owed by the government, ensuring timely delivery to the beneficiaries.
