Local markets in the capital, Baghdad, recorded updated prices for gold and currency exchanges. Globally, gold stood at $4,374 per ounce. Domestically, the price of a mithqal of 21-karat gold reached 937,000 Iraqi Dinars (IQD), while 18-karat gold was priced
at 804,000 IQD, 22-karat at 982,000 IQD, and 24-karat at 1,070,000 IQD. Concurrently, the US Dollar witnessed a slight increase against the Iraqi Dinar in exchange hubs, trading at 152,700 IQD per $100 in morning transactions in Baghdad, while reaching
153,400 IQD per $100 in the Kurdistan Region.
