globally, Iraqi institutions face accusations of regulatory loopholes that allow the dismantling of usable assets and equipment to be sold at low prices. Parliamentary sources and industrial experts emphasized the need to form supreme committees to investigate the transport and
classification of scrap, warning against the exploitation of administrative corruption to make illicit profits. The sources noted that several cases are currently under investigation by regulatory bodies, necessitating firm governmental intervention to protect the state's economic resources.
