Iraq's Revenues Exceed 35 Trillion Dinars by Mid-Year as Salaries Top Expenditures

rafidainscope - Data from the Ministry of Finance regarding the execution of the federal budget up to the end of last June revealed that Iraq's total state revenues reached 35.946 trillion dinars. Oil revenues saw a relative decline despite maintaining a dominance of 80%, amounting to 28.433 trillion dinars compared to 7.513 trillion dinars in non-oil revenues. On the expenditure side, the total reached 54.673 trillion dinars, led by employee compensation exceeding 30 trillion dinars. This indicates that expenditures outpaced revenues by approximately 18.727 trillion dinars, reflecting a widening gap between resources and public spending.
