Iraqi Ports Welcome First Commercial Cargo Ship Arriving Directly from China

The General Company for Ports of Iraq welcomed the first cargo ship arriving directly from China at the Northern Umm Qasr Port, following the resumption of maritime navigation through the Strait of Hormuz. The General Administration of Ports confirmed that the arrival of this vessel, carrying approximately 30,000 tons of oil equipment and commercial goods, sends a highly important message of reassurance regarding the stability of shipping lanes and the flow of commodities.
