Iraqi Judiciary Expresses Readiness to Support Syria's Legal and Institutional Sector

The President of the Iraqi Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Faiq Zaidan, affirmed Iraq's full support for Syria's reconstruction and development efforts, expressing the Iraqi judiciary's readiness to extend comprehensive legal and judicial assistance to Syria. Speaking during a joint meeting held in Damascus with Syrian Minister of Justice Mazhar Abdul Rahman Al-Eis, Judge Zaidan emphasized Baghdad's backing for Syria's institutional rebuilding and legislative development. In response, the Syrian Justice Minister commended the growing bilateral ties across security and economic domains, expressing Damascus's intent to deepen legal partnerships with Iraq during this pivotal phase focused on strengthening the rule of law.
