rafidainscope - The Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Cairo announced an official agreement with Egyptian authorities allowing empty Iraqi trucks to re-enter Egyptian territory, reversing a previous ban. This understanding was the result of diligent efforts and follow-up
by Iraqi diplomacy in coordination with the Egyptian Ministry of Transport. The decision is expected to revitalize land transport and boost bilateral trade, with technical details to be discussed more broadly during the joint committee meetings scheduled for next September.
