The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) confirmed its positive and responsible engagement with proposals concerning the completion of the second phase of the ceasefire agreement, noting that this is carried out with comprehensive national consensus among all factions to protect civilians
and meet humanitarian needs. In an official statement, the movement explained that adherence to halting military operations is the primary gateway to moving forward with implementing the agreement's terms and setting clear timelines. It stressed that addressing the issue of
heavy weapons is linked to fundamental conditions, namely full withdrawal, the start of reconstruction efforts, the deployment of international protection forces, and guaranteeing the right to self-determination and the establishment of an independent state. This comes amid international announcements regarding
the reaching of understandings to lay out a detailed roadmap aimed at ending the escalation and applying the agreement's phases in a gradual and calculated manner.
